BERAKAS, Rabu, 23 September. - Menteri Hal Ehwal Ugama, Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan menerima kunjungan hormat daripada Member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) of the People's Republic of China, Chairman of the Ethnic Affairs Commitee of the NPC, Tuan Yang Terutama Bayin Chaolu dan delegasi, petang tadi.
Kunjungan hormat tersebut diadakan di Bilik Dhiyafah, Tingkat 5, Bangunan Darul Itqan, Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama (KHEU), Jalan Dewan Majlis.
Turut serta dalam kunjungan hormat tersebut ialah Member of the Standing Committee of the the NPC, Vice Chairman of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the NPC, Tuan Yang Terutama Bai Shangcheng dan Member of the Standing Committee of the NPC, Vice Chaiman of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the NPC, Puan Yang Terutama Zhou Min.
Juga turut serta, Director General of the Research Department of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the NPC, Liu Jinglei; Level II Division-Rank Official of the Legislative Affairs Office of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the NPC, Li Kangwei.
Mengiringi delegasi ialah bakal Duta Besar Istimewa dan Mutlak Republik Rakyat China ke Negara Brunei Darussalam (NBD), Tuan Yang Terutama Chen Shaochun.
Kunjungan hormat tersebut bertujuan untuk bertukar-tukar pandangan mengenai usaha memperkukuh kerjasama dua hala dalam bidang hal ehwal agama serta meningkatkan persefahaman bersama terhadap dasar-dasar keagamaan yang diamalkan oleh kedua-dua negara.
Hadir sama pada majlis kunjungan hormat tersebut ialah Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap (Dasar dan Keugamaan), KHEU, Awang Haji Shamshol bin Haji Omar.
